ABOUT The Cultivate Project is a community-driven brand initiative focused on addressing food insecurity and increasing access to fresh, healthy food in underserved areas. The project highlights the realities of food deserts while offering hopeful, actionable solutions through education, volunteer engagement, and resource distribution.
INTENT The design intention was to create a vibrant and welcoming identity system that balances urgency with optimism, translating systemic challenges into accessible, engaging visual communication that empowers communities to participate in change.
DESIGN The visual language centers on bold, simplified produce illustrations, layered organic shapes, and a high-contrast palette of earthy greens, energetic oranges, and soft lavender tones. Flexible logo treatments and modular layouts allow the brand to scale across multiple touchpoints. This cohesive yet playful system reinforces the idea of cultivation, growth, and community participation. The result is an inclusive brand experience that feels approachable, energetic, and actionable, transforming a serious social issue into a movement rooted in nourishment and collective care.
